This cake is first and foremost a lesson on how to turn a failure into something acceptable at least. As you can see in the photos we have a cake with two sheets and some cream in the middle. Coincidence caused one of the sheets to stick and break when I took it out of the tray. I was very sorry but I found a solution to save her. I crumbled it and placed it on top of the cream. No one realized that it really shouldn't look like that.


The recipe is a dietary one, in accordance with the Dukan diet, but you can also try it if you want to eat healthier or take care of your figure.


To be able to stick to a healthy lifestyle for a long period of time, to persevere and want to be better at what you do, to make time for yourself, your family and to have a job at the same time not they are always very easy things.


Dukan Diet Cake with Cocoa and Cream Cheese



Ingredients


For sheets

  • 6 tablespoons of oat bran
  • 1 tablespoon of cocoa
  • 1 pack of baking powder
  • 4-5 tablespoons sweetener powder
  • 2 tablespoons skim yogurt
  • 2 eggs


For the cream

  • 500 g skimmed cream cheese (quarq)
  • 4 tablespoons sweetener powder
  • 1 sachet of gelatin powder


Preparation :

  • Preheat the oven to 190 degrees C. In a bowl, mix the oat bran with the baking powder, sweetener and cocoa.
  • Add the yogurt and eggs and mix until smooth. Divide the composition into two equal parts and bake two sheets in a 20/20 cm square or 20-24 cm round tray for 6-8 minutes each.
  • Remove the sheets and allow them to cool.
  • For the cream, mix the skim cheese with the sweetener and vanilla. Prepare the gelatin with two tablespoons of water and pour it over the cream cheese. If the cream looks soft don't worry, it will harden in the fridge.
  • Place in the tray in which you baked the first sheet, then pour in the cream and place the second sheet, pressing lightly.
  • Refrigerate the cake for at least 2-3 hours or overnight before serving.


Dukan Diet Cocoa and Cream Cheese



The recipe is in accordance with the Dukan diet, PP or PL days, starting with the cruise stage, respecting the daily norm of oat bran.
